Training for Instrument Rating - 1st Day, 2nd Stay

Ground School

Ray 教官からレクチャー 1.5H。

  • 知識レベル
    • 必要となる知識レベルは Private < Commercial << Instrument Rating とのこと*1
  • Instrument Rating 取得要件*2 - FAR 61.65 (d)
    • 50 hours of cross-country flight time as pilot in command, of which 10 hours must have been in an airplane; and
    • 40 hours of actual or simulated instrument time in the areas of operation listed in paragraph (c) of this section, of which 15 hours must have been received from an authorized instructor who holds an instrument-airplane rating, and the instrument time includes:
      • 3 hours of instrument flight training from an authorized instructor in an airplane that is appropriate to the instrument-airplane rating within 2 calendar months before the date of the practical test; and
      • Instrument flight training on cross country flight procedures, including one cross country flight in an airplane with an authorized instructor, that is performed under instrument flight rules, when a flight plan has been filed with an air traffic control facility, and that involves--
        • A flight of 250 nautical miles along airways or by directed routing from an air traffic control facility;
        • An instrument approach at each airport; and
        • 3 different kinds of approaches with the use of navigation systems.
  • 計器の Power Source (復習)、遅行性、保守要件
    1. Gyroscopic Indcator は ADI (Vacuum), HDG (Vacuum), Turn Coordinator (Electoric *3 ) の 3 つ
    2. Pitot-Staic Indicator は A/S, ALT, VSI
    3. Power Source ごとに故障しうる → Source ごとの障害を想定して Partial Panel を訓練
    4. 遅行性 *4 は TC = most sensitive, ADI = 1 〜 2 sec、VSI = 6 〜 8 sec
    5. 各計器の保守要件を調べるべき
  • Human Factors & Aviation Physiology
    1. IM SAFE ... Illness/Medication/Stress/Alcohol/Fatigue/Emotion

*1:Commercial は知識よりどちらかというと技量を高めるということか。

*2:Instrument Rating は Proficiency/Currency が求められるため、訓練プランを慎重に組み立てることが重要。
